"It's a deal, it's a steal....It's sale of the fucking century"

So I've been driving my new Subaru for the last 4 days and am loving been back on the road and loving that I paid £500 for a car that would set me back £2000-£3000 in the UK (I doubt I'd find a 1995 with only 52,000 miles on the clock and immaculate interior). I'm almost tempted to ship it home next year, I'd still break even!

Having said that it did have a tint job on the rear window that had gone bad and blotchy so I took it upon myself to remove the tint. Now I started this not realising that it would leave a sticky glue residue behind (which smells like sick) so I've spent today scouring local DIY shops for some glass glue remover. Think I've managed to find the right stuff. I'll report tomorrow to see how its turned out. Aside from that slight problem the car is absolutely class and I'm well chuffed, it was worth the 2 weeks of walking.
