Strolling in the rain

Another beauty Luis, onegaishimasu!

Today is drizzly and misty and not too nice, chotto samui ne (a little cold?). This is in distinct contrast to Sunday when it was 27deg C and bright sunshine. But the good weather is almost here I think past this weekend we'll start hitting 20+ every day and April/May are when its really nice, hot weather but low humidity.

I am still car-less but (I think) all the paperwork junk I needed to do has been done its just a case of the guy I'm buying it off to get the ownership changed and me to then change my insurance and I'll be back on the road. I'm hoping to do that by the weekend. At the moment I'm having to walk/catch the train/charge me mates for lifts, which is a pain in the arse when you're stuck in the country, my local spar like supermarket charges through the nose.

This week I'm obviously looking forward (we a degree of trepidation) to Liverpool's visit to Turin to take on Juventus. I shall be up at 3:45am on Thursday cheering on the lads.

Although I'm back at school we have a round of inductions for the new kids and for some reason the 2nd and 3rd grade kids don't need to see me either (where's the love?) so I'm clear of school stuff all week.

Due to (like a fool) getting involved with AJET again this year planning needs to start for a range of stuff so don't despair at my slack work load I'll be using my time wisely or maybe I'll just play Football Manager (just got Sheffield United in the premier league at the second attempt).

Looking to the weekend; well hopefully I'll get the car on Saturday, on Friday I'm going to a bar opening in the city and on Saturday a Beach party which should see the Impreza make its first road trip (this will also take in the first BBQ and camping of the year).

I'm also in the early stages of sorting out a camping trip down south over Golden Week this is where if I take two days holiday I get 6 off thanks to the opening week of May's public holidays, one of which is my birthday (or Constitution Day as it gets called here, I think Andy-sensei day has a better ring myself). There will be a bunch of JETs from Toyama coming down for the camping and it'll be great to see Dave and Susi again (who are the instigators of this mini-invasion from the north).
