Vortis v BBQ v FA Cup Final Saturday

Well thanks to a rescheduling of the kickball my hand wasn't forced and now plans are afoot for a day of fine football action, drinking and BBQ (Currently my weather widget in Tiger is telling me to expect a high of 23 low of 17 on Saturday).

First up will be a trip to Naruto to watch Vortis Tokushima play Mito Holly Hock (from Ibaraki prefecture). Mito currently lie 11th in the table but have actually won 3 games to Vortis' 2 from the 12 games played (we've drawn 7). Mito have conceded 21 goals this season so with the dodgy defending I witnessed at the last home game we should be in for a goal feast (lookout for it being a 0-0 affair now I've said that).

Once the game is done (2pm kick off, why.... Just to burn me in the midday sun thats why!) i'll be heading back home and lighting up the bbq for however many souls decide they want to avoid playing Texas holdum in the city. Then we'll be watching the FA Cup final live at 23:00. This time last year John was out and we were watching Man U v Millwall, so this is now kind of an annual tradition.

More football related goodness will see me watching the relay of the UEFA Cup final after I get home from school tomorrow (can't be bothered watching that live). I'm wondering should I get up and watch the following weeks Champions League Final like a good supporter or avoid the result all day and watch it when I get home (like a good teacher who respects his students right to learn).....yep looking like the former!

Ah as the football seasons winds down and all the series I watch from the states come to a conclusion in the next week, I'm left wondering what I'll be doing with my time during the week. Hopefully Digidesign will get a patch for Pro Tools so I can run it on OS 10.4 then I can get back to doing some recording again.
